2016 layoffs are still haunting Intel. Pat needs to stop huffing his farts and jerking off his yes men.

One good strategy to survive at Intel will be for you to be on a product that is actually making money. If you are in a support role and you are more then 1 level removed from product develop, manufacturing or talking to customers directly then you will know your job is at high risk. Of course this is all just common sense but for decades and decades Intel was a cash printing press and every stupid project, acquisition or new technology got funded. This days are gone so if you stay, buckle down and get a s close to the core business as you can.

Intel lost market share big time to Nvidia/Mellanox, so this wouldn't be a surprise if it's true.

AXG is still slowly making there cuts as well, I am pretty sure they are a big reason Intel can't move forward. Start of the year it was announced they were merging into DCAI and CCG but have not completed there CPM, transition, our outlined a 2023 business plan. AXG has lost so much money for Intel it's a shock they still have Lisa around at all. AXGs spending has to be brought back down to reality and there leadership needs to be changed. The people at the top have been around for over a decade making these same mistakes over and over, when is enough going to be enough
