Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Has anyone gotten their yearly raise?

Just got my raise. Ranked a 3 got a 40 cent raise and a bonus of $500. Which is 2% raise. Guess I feel lucky to have my job still.

I’m sorry but the 10 center last post about living his best life has me laughing so hard. Omg… only I think it’s everywhere people. Corporate greed and corruption. I haven’t had my review yet but I don’t expect much. 😝

So glad I switched departments. HDP is a joke. Got a 1.05% raise from previous supervisor's common review in HDP. Absolute bullsh-t.

I got a $25 raise for a promotion to SWE manager level 2 years ago. You read that right.

3% raise is absolutely insane lmao. That's pennies. My review is coming up soon, hoping I get an 8% raise like the one op.

@2sto+1ldfML3U- while I agreed there are overpaid in many of the teams (not limited to Optum Tech). One of the biggest challenges due to no checks and balances on assessing core competence during M&A. Many acquired entities promoted lower level to Director/VP levels overnite before acquisition. Most technology software stack is EOL/EOS with huge number of vulnerabilities.
UHG/Optum is an upsidedown pyramid org. structure - top heavy. Out dated skill set and technology stack. Why cant this "upside down pyramid" be right sided up to clean up the mess? You guess it keep it the top encouraged keeping it status quote so they all can continue to get big bonuses.... The elite bottom teams suffered along with the customers..There are good resources but have been silenced to not make noise...

Optum Tech shouldn't receive anything. Not only is everyone significantly overpaid and over graded, but we have the worst technology team in the Fortune 100.

3% for a 4 rating. Not keeping up with inflation so yeah everyone is screwed long term. Blame your government.

How about 0%, because I got one of the new CIO's 5% of the org 2 rating. No money again. This whole process is criminal.

In my experience at this company, 3% is GREAT. The typical increase has been between 0 and 3%, with the average being 1 - 1.5%. Congrats on your huge increase.

I think a percentage is more helpful. I got 3% - so about 1/3 the cost of inflation
