for those laid off today, keep your spirits up - there will be something else either better or the same outside of VZ
I have a WARN letter from 2005 - I was able to get something else outside of my original job at VZW and thrived in the new environment. However, last few years, if we weren't working from home 70% of the time, I would have left. Retiring later this spring with no regrets.
Remember to USE EVERYTING they offer - tuition (I got an MBA), training (learned SQL, Tableau), all of the health care stuff and exercise options....and TRY not to get the downers get YOU down

I’ve seen so many thrive beyond the big red check. Great message and while it’s scary now, I hope everyone realizes the value they have in the market bc of all the training and resources this company has offered and finds their next passion.
They aren’t loyal to us, we’re numbers, we have to create our own value, sending prayers to all impacted to find their next adventure.
