I was not sub paid.. I was the lowest quota of my team; which makes sense as to why I was first to go. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see more cuts though, ATT pi---s money away around every corner..

This is for the Sun Paid team. Useless group that was a good idea at the start when you got paid on individual scale and turned into a massive BS overlay gig. These groups are always complaining about losing the job should have been looking the past year you sat around and did nothing and get paid a 1B salary. Saw this coming a while ago and got out. Good luck to the few left… better start looking now!

agree with OP a Firstnet cse overlays the account, a Firstnet sale has comp redundancy across both sides of the respective business units hierarchy -2 cse's -2 sales mgrs, 2 directors, on and on ad nauseam, with the financial pressures across all segments as Ts focuses on cost saving s to show the street profitability, removing comp redundancy is a fast and easy way to impact free cash flow, or target debt, there is no great mystic in selling Firstnet and as the mobility cse owns the account it makes sense to lose the overlay, not saying Firstnet will go away and wont have some org structure, but have seen this happen to many overlay sales rolls

Once the FirstNet Administration final subsidy payments was received, could have predicted cuts coming. T struggles with sales.

@1cok+1lezhwcg stop drinking the kool-aid. FirstNet continues to cannibalize Ts mobility base to show growth and a % of the monthly gross add growth that the sellers are being compensated for are being generated by false churn whenever a customer is moved to Firstnet from a commercial account and the data lines are out of contract and need a Firstnet sim or a new data device is requested the reps xcl the old line and issue a new number, a cheap trick that’s as old as time…why do you think the deacts are now being more closely tracked, also many question the validity of some of the user being put on the network, T is in a corner with FirstNet for 20 more years to meet the contract deliverables, make it self funding or pay-up, the exposure financially and to Ts reputation are at risk so a blind eye is turned by the AVPs to many of the shenanigans

Heard that this is the first in a series of ongoing continued restructuring of the Firstnet org the ultimate goal of having a small core staff as SMEs in product, and staff in ops, network response, program mgmt executive admin, org will see another headcount reduction towards the end of 23 and continued strategic downsizing of the teams with the lower performing sales managers let go and the smaller teams will become more regional/nationally managed. Firstnet needs to be self funding and the executives believe this can be helped in large by shrinking the org, the AVPs over mobility in SLED, LED, GEM, GBS, Mid, etc still have the leverage with executive leadership and like everyone are fighting for a seat/job security and all are making the case that their mobility sellers can sell FirstNet into their accounts without the Firstnet overlay team--cost

“How long did you have with Company if don't mind sharing?”
Absolutely irrelevant, if you’re trying to determine the formula for T layoffs..you’ll never do it. Just assume you will be next sooner or later.

FirstNet was and has always been smoke and mirrors, no one should be surprised. Converting existing already T lines to FirstNet lines and tracking as new…cmon man, you knew it had to end….
