Omg, don't base your life on rumors. No one on this site has definite proof of layoffs. Quit worrying and start working like you will be there 50 yrs. Also, keep your resume up-to-date and keep your ears open for other opportunities. Stress is a ki-ler, so just deal with facts.. and right now there are no facts available.

I was let go of Ford in 2008. It was the best thing ever in my career. I saw how much I was not learning once I got a new job with actual learning. If you are not learning, you have a problem, leave. Ford was a talent ki-ler when I was there.
It is coming. Probably before end of 1st quarter. It is going to be massive. It will affect all departments. All levels including LL3-LL5.
