Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

I'm sick to my stomach

How many times or players? Why is ethics still an issue? How many times do we have to go through this? I say fire the recruitment team; they can't do "due diligence". How many times can we go through this? Another reorg as usual? Lord help us all. I am so tired of this sh-t show. I think I'd rather eat my own pu-e than go through this again, again, again, again, again, and again.

In no situation ever has a recruiter been the one to choose the final hire for a hiring manager and then third party companies run due diligence and background checks for every large corporation out there. It’s called hiring manager and overall leadership training that is needed to better identify what type of capabilities are actually needed in a role by the leader and then to properly develop and performance manage the talent
