For those sales reps offered the merchandiser-order writer position, did they offer you less money or were you going to keep your same wage to step down? Would like to know details of these offers of demotion. Also, are you able to take severance and collect unemployment?

How are you getting $25 as a FT order writer. Like what??
I’m a ftow now and I’m getting $25 per hour now. But yes, no car. But less work because I control the orders that I have to throw now.
If you were laid off as a rep and rehired as a full-time order writer. The most you will make is $ 22.50 per hour plus you lose the car. That rate is in the north east.
If you got sa position u kept everything just title change and your work availability opens to week ends.
If you take ftow job. Than you lost car. Pay etc
They want to be “number one” in retail .. more like number one in employee turn over lol. .. why would anyone younger sign up for a career with no chance of promotion and not even a retirement plan ?

You definitely don't keep your pay. Cutting costs is the reason for all this. Corporate greed. You will also lose your car.
Would like to know as well. How soon until we find out before going live in April?
