To those of you who have been part of the changes already: what is your age, recent performance history, and years on the job? What about your coworkers that have retained their jobs or those that were let go?

When laid off all the info regarding positions and age is afforded you in the package of paperwork…..one person who got laid off was 70yrs old!!!(why working as SR that long?)
From what I saw, it was predominantly 30+ & up…no real pattern. Now where the pattern may be, is at the “team” level. On our team, 2 of us had 77yrs between us w/company and let go, (quite frankly a blessing really.) However, then they tried to say we volunteered to retire when we filed for EDD in CA and even Gov. Rep. noted, you don’t get severance if you volunteered to quit! Duuuh!…lol..so in CA company will be paying us unemployment regardless too. That’s how you sc--w a corporation as a peon in a BLUE state. Good luck red states, cus quite sure your legislation don’t give two shitz about you, just the corporation and you likely can only get severance and not unemployment too.
Cause no one is willing to step up
Why hasnt someone started a class action. Keebler did
Now someone is thinking....these are great questions. You are also able to get some of this information from HR by law. They have to give you information on age and gender, not performance. Performance is easy to prove since it is quantitative.
Get em!
