Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Stellantis with another record year in 2022

Meantime, Ford's mismanagement has us squarely in third place of a three house race.

To d-mb that down for Car Car, that means last place, Jimmy.

@bvr+1ljh6t7L- I would bounce around to several companies to get a better perspective of the differences in cultures and leadership.

@bvr+1ljh6t7L - I think it’s always a good idea to explore all your options. Outside of MI, automotive isn’t even a blip on the radar.

Ah, don't go to Stellantis,

It is the inertia. Those West Coast fools and MBA smartass is turning the company like Ford.

In my department, more than half of people quit! Many even went to Jaguar Land Rover Italia

Would any of you work for Stellantis if you had the chance? I'm looking at their job openings and some seem interesting. I just dont know if it ends up being 'automotive' wherever you go. I'm relatively young and have only worked for Ford...

Back in the day, I believed FORD stood for First On Race Day, but I guess it really is Found On Road Dead!

Back in 2008, an engineer friend of mine was let go after 29 years with Ford. He ended up getting a job with Stellantis. Coincidence?

Ford has always aspired to be third in the race.

Only leads in recalls.
