Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Thanks AT&T Business!

Got to check out the new comp portal only to find most of my sales were yanked and given to the new “platinum team”. This was after we were explicitly told that this would not happen if we had opportunities logged in SF. Everyone in SMB is looking to leave after today, and the department is an impossible dumpster fire. What id--t came up with the idea to ki-l all the previous business relationships, and blow up the business department? If shareholders knew of the soon to be mass exodus of business customers leaving for competitors due to their reps leaving…. They would have fired the mo--n who came up with this. I call this the surplus without having to pay packages………

The sales force has been reduced to bare bones, no sales force to speak of any longer in business. The field techs are being asked to provide sales leads so whatever remaining sales personnel there are left, won't have to go out in the field and sell unless there's a good lead. The technicians are equipment installers, cable installers and now sales people. What next, design engineers!

Wow I don't think this could be any more accurate... If only there was some way for the shareholders to know all about this...

Business services is simply going through the motions. They still can’t abandon existing customer base but can’t avoid the erosion and losses either. Every single person in the Business segment, if given truth serum, would tell you that the vast majority of “sales” reported are questionable at best. Disconnects and reconnects, reporting of optimizations as new, upgrades as new ..on and on…No one will tell the King he has no pants on. What’s even more telling is that no one thinks any of it is unusual. This is just a glimpse of the integrity of which they operate.

I can say so much, but I’m tired of venting about AT&T Business. I hate my job. Everyday. We all do. No leadership, no plan, nothing but call call call call call. They have turned this sales role into outside telesales. Now they have destroyed all previous internal but mainly external relationships with existing reps and existing customers. Shareholders beware! These are not sustainable sales. ATT has no idea how to run this business. I can go on and on and on but I’m tired. Actively looking for something else. YOU ARE NOT VALUED HERE!!!!

Stay as long as you can and make every effort to convince customers you have contact with to move to another provider. Go out with a bang…

Sales Force......LMFAO !!!!! what a joke ! It works every time 60% of the time. When you log in and jump to another app ; it logs you out. Multi tasking is against company policy. Try finding information in CCKM that is relevant and in a timely fashion. You stand a better chance of finding jimmy hoffa. And why are we not caring about sales ? There is a bigger focus on getting leads in sales force than the actual sales themselves. We are no longer focused on generating revenue. All as we care about are green checks and the ratio of customers you worked with. Once again, no sales. Why are we not focused on sales in the sales dept ?
