Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Back to the office peasants, and we're outsourcing m hard to India

So as predicted the WFH experiment was nice while it lasted a measly 2 years, now we're back to the old 9-5 commute and grind.... But that's expected.. I always chuckled when people talked about this is the new way of work ..lol

what's sad is the BS about having more overseas "employees" , that it's not outsourcing, to better meet new technology needs... riiiiggggghhhtt like the tens of thousands of newly minted available talent from marquis tech names in the US that were recently laid off isn't enough talent stateside , c'mon just tell it like it is..

Folks all this is just to reiterate that in corporate you are nothing but a cog , be loyal only to yourself , and never go above or beyond...

"Board is asking why T had 30000 more employees than competitors."

They should be questioning their lousy decisions for the past decade.

Board is asking why T had 30000 more employees than competitors. Very diligent.

Kindly do the needful and get the fvck out. Your presence here has become very tiresome.

The "Board" as you say isn't asking anything close to the thing say you suggest. If the "Board" was so diligent, they would have stopped Randell 10 years ago. You sound like a Dalit trying to pass as a Shudras. One H1B expiration and a plane flight home, you will find your worth.

I've purposely produced substantially less work value for the company since being forced to return to the office and I know many of my co-workers have done the same. Quite frankly, we just don't GAF and we do the very minimum to not get fired. Any upper level manager reviewing the data of performance metrics, productivity and attendance, will obviously see their failed decision to force us back to the office. We simply laugh at their stupidity. We just hope to be laid off so we each get the termination package. And we'll continue laughing.

Who says the competitors don't do more with outside vendors?

Employee count is a d-mb metric.

Returning to the office was the right decision. Far too many oriole employees have been slacking at home.
