You mean there are real HR people? I never met one even after sending multiple requests for help in a major discrimination issue... just bots sent to malaysia. No loss to the personnel ranks if you got rid of all of them.

Well Huh. Never talked to HR anyway - it's all "Ask HR Bot" - Ok if you get too disparaging with the bot it'll sic a person on you.
My read
- AskHR Bot was really HR folks doing the work dynamically thus training it.
- AskHR Bot is now self aware and sacking it's trainers.
- Will now have to subscribe (payroll deduction!) to "Premium HR Support"

Meta has gotten religion after laying off 11k of production employees. Speculation is 7-8k worth of managers are now in scope or approx 11%

Why would that not be true? Look at all the other Tech companies... they have massively laid off recruiters and HR people because they stopped hiring... I think it only makes sense for IBM to do that.
I don't see how IBM could keep on laying off 'perform' resources, the people that actually either develop products, sell products or services or provide services... Someone, at the end of the day, has to make money.
