Not that it’s great but March ends Change’s fiscal year and usually in July we would have been given our merit raises…is that a flushed reality? Also noticed in April United is holding one weeks pay as we merge to Optum’s payroll cycle. So, no merit increase, one weeks pay withheld in April, my premium is doubling, no more DPTO, and for the rest of year have to worry as divisions are merged if my job is secure?

AIP stands for "Annual Incentive Plan." It's a way for CHC to pretend they're going to give you a bonus, based upon the company, your division, and yourself meeting certain performance metrics. The results then get bounced against the percent of your salary that is in your AIP plan. In reality, they come up with enough excuses to reduce the amount you qualify for, so what seems like a potentially decent bonus, ends up being pretty low.
What is AIP
I got my merit letter late on Friday.
"Switching to bi-weekly payroll also means we get an additional 2 paychecks a year. 26 paychecks vs 24."
Yeah, but Optum already had their first, third paycheck for the year in January, so between the switchover from semi-monthly to bi-weekly, the skip of a week's pay for salaried employees, and getting only one of the two, three paycheck allocations, this switchover really sucks.
The merit letters are not automated. Your direct people leader needs to basically download them from workday and send them to you (they are "supposed" to review them with you and not just send them out)
Didn’t get a merit letter either….
I’m sorry I’m new to this, does merit come after your review with your boss? Because I haven’t had a review with my boss yet.

Got merit increase this morning ~2.5% with AIP payout that sucks. I asked my manager what are the items which resulted in such a low increase and his response you got the max anyone could have got and you are doing excellent. Ha...
So letters started going out today concerning merit? There are departments who still get bonuses..we were told that bonuses were taken away and only merit was being given? So are these the same letters going out in March concerning your offer letter with what position you will have within Optum?
I got my merit increase and AIP info this morning. 2.6% increase, starting on March 1st. I heard the "top performers" got 4%. AIP was terrible (even when calculating only a 3/4 bonus) compared to the last two years. It was a nice gravy train while it lasted.
I didn't get that email so I guess I know what's happening with my job! Ha ha
When was the email sent about paying out merit raises so I can look through my deleted emails.
Merit increases are getting paid out in March. We switched to Optum's FY back in January. We all got emails listing out the dates for Merit and AIP for mid march
I make just over minimum wage (under $14.50), the pay is nothing. I have turned down so many job offers making double the money before optum came into play just because I love my job & team. I will see if I'm kicking myself in the bu-t for that.
Y’all are salaried lol?
I was hired at 16 hour. I have a bachelors degree what the f*** am I doing at this company
Neil the TAKER he takes everything. When he closed 60 offices - did you see any benefit? No he went and took your phones.
I signed my union card did you?
And as a salaried employee going to biweekly payroll instead of bimonthly your biweekly pay will be reduced on top of higher premiums.
