@1trj Dealers deserve every bad thing coming their way. They have screwed customers and Ford for years. I hope every single one of them goes bankrupt.

The company management are the id--ts. Designing and building vehicles that cannot meet the market demand and pushing the Dealers to the brink of extinction with threats of EV store upgrades, Transportation as a Service schemes and direct sales. I for one am not thrilled with dealing directly with Ford on warranty or repair issues. Is Ford going to staff repair facilities so you can talk to someone who knows the issue with your vehicle? The dealers are scared and are trying to earn what they can before the tap runs out.

Working at Ford, I would not be buying a new Ford, especially from 2018+, our warranty has been abysmal.

Back in the day, when I was prep mechanic, we used to call it "True Coat." I guess these days it's called "Stargard." True Coat used a baked on linseed oil mixture to pretty much guarantee a long lasting coating, I'm curious how the stargard is being applied? Is it some property Ford process?

I agree some customers are dolts. They don’t understand cash flow especially the ones that buy the loaded trucks. Financing something that depreciates like a gallon of milk. Suspect the default rate is going to be creeping up this year.

You can’t be very intelligent if you are buying a Ford vehicle.
