Just heard from a friend a group of 100+ techs got laid off. All of them!! DMDR techs. Not familiar with who they are. the are hiring contractors to replace my group so the don’t have to pay them benefits. No pension, 401k or health insurance!

with all of the regulation and hoops that companies have to jump through to satisfy every id--t organization today, it is much, Much, MUCH better to be the customer than to be the employer.....
You don't want to have workers if there isn't enough work.
Can they do that and get away with it?
T still owns 70% of Warner Media Discover and 70% of Direct TV. They just don't manage either anymore.
We don't own CNN or any of that anymore.
Instead of laying off, they could sell CNN... surely that is worth 50 or 60 bucks.

DMDR techs are d-mb
