My closest friend at the bank for a hefty bonus last March and was laid off in June of last year. Thank god she was already looking and landed fine. After that bonus check hits your account don’t get too comfy, please. Keep your skills sharp and your resume polished. She got 10 minutes notice for a call with her manager in which she was laid off. Do not be naive, I’m begging you.

What department?
I didn't get a bonus. I did get a raise but, for some reason, I think it might be lower than they said the minimum raise would be.
