Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Just do the bare minimum

Remember the bank does not care about you. Don't go the extra mile for it and have low expectations, if you aren't getting paid well then move on. All the double speak your managers constantly use such as "responsible growth", "pay for performance" etc are just cheap words used to placate the naive. Be better then that, work smarter, not harder and do just enough to meet expectations. Good luck

I thought pay for performance meant that they only want me working a very small percentage harder than a new employee making the minimum wage

Work hard. God will create many paths for you.

Been quiet quitting for a while now. I stopped trying and still got M/M, same as last year, and got more of a bonus than last year when I actually tried, azz backwards place. So now I use my work from home days to look for better paying jobs and go on interviews. The fact that your compensation is decided months before your year end performance review should tell you, what you do has nothing to do with your actual bonus/raise.

Don’t forget we are minions. Do the bare minimum. Brian slowed down hiring and took a pay cut but he’s still making $30 million.
