"Journalists, take note. We will be in contact."
You remind me of that guy during covid who kept saying "discovery will be magnificent". I guess he's still out exploring.
Another incident:
Minority female (but 50+) was in the final stages of the process. The job requisition was cancelled abruptly.
Many other examples. Positions are not being filled with older workers (with a few exceptions).
When the job "transitions" are factored in, we expect the number of those over 50 impacted will be 90%+
Journalists, take note. We will be in contact.
This occurred:
Impacted individual was told by the hiring manager that he was ready to give him an offer. They discussed and the hiring manager then told him that he could not make an offer after all because he was being pressured to bring in someone with less experience and younger. Pay was not the issue. Same pay. Different age.

And WHY are we going to be surprised?
All that will happen on age discrimination cases are they will give you your old job back.
There are a number of people that have gone a similar route, and are still around.
The good news is they keep their jobs. The bad news is they are stuck now in purgatory.
No payout. You just get to keep your job. Welcome to Groundhog Day.
Going into silent mode as formal investigation begins next Monday.
I was working on this as a personal project but it is now moving forward. I am no longer able to provide updates outside of official channels.
You have us on the edge of our seats. Where can we find out more? Or when will this go public?
is there a class lawsuit people can join or other info? Thanks
They don't care about settlements or fines.
But they do care about horrific PR and criminal charges, and those are on the table.
Can confirm. We also have evidence of targeted harassment and are going public with it
Good for you. Sue for billions!
