Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Don’t tell your stores!

Those of us that had our “meeting” today, found it very odd they made a point of us not to tell our stores we are being let go. They will handle it.

My question is those who got laid off during wave 1/2 did they say that?

Second question, if we tell our stores, is this a way to let us go for violating some policy, and avoid severance?

I wouldn’t put it past this company to find a grimy way to save a dime.

I was assigned to a Territory supposed to have 2 or 3 order writers. They arent even hired. What an absolute joke. Well I've gotta surprise for them. Lol

They’re foolishly assuming that merchandisers, like myself, that know way more than they think we do are going to keep our mouths shut. I think my stores deserve to know. I’m not sticking around for this mess and they can’t do Jack squat to me.

I told my stores, and told the managers to call Snyders and Frito and give them my lobby displays at my top accounts as soon as I was out! I even watched one of the managers call Snyders who was happy and ready to take over these lobby’s. F*CK Mondelez!

I told all of my stores because I felt they had every right to be aware of what was happening. I built many good relationships and I was not going to leave those people in the dark. It's the right thing to do.

They don’t want stores to know if any changes, it shows disruption. Oh he-l yeah I told my stores! He said/she said….good luck proving it! I want my stores to know, I built relationships with these people. I hope my stores punish the he-l out the company by refusing deliveries and no giving incremental space….that’s what Mondelēz fears! Make it happen!!!!

I got told that too. Very very odd I thought. I’m surprised they would even want stores to know they don’t need to listen to their rep for the next month bc he’s a dead man walking.
