Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Lake Mary

I normally don't like to deal in the world of rumors, but this caught my eye. I've heard from multiple sources Fiserv is looking for office space in Lake Mary. Kind of odd since they just closed the building, laid off a vast majority of the folks that worked in that office or asked them to move to NJ. Also, Lake Mary isn't a "Hub" Strange if true

Here we go again with another HR shill post. They always have the same gist; stating 44k+ employees exist even after layoffs, ride the Fiserv rocket, and there are only 200 malcontents. It's laughable at how consistent these are.

My former boss lost his job after we closed the Lake Mary, FL office. They should have let the people in that office go full remote.

So much for “flexibility”. Franks definition must have changed it to the flexibility to be laid off, fired, or quit at anytime

I don't understand these viscous rumors. 200 malcontents want to be lazy at home while 44,444+ are able to follow Fiserv Corporate policy.

Fiserv policy is very clear. The "Majority".

Since there are 24 hours in a day, it is required that Fiserv associates are in the office for 12 hours a day. This is very reasonable. You can work from home the remaining 12 hours.

Strap yourself to the rocket or go work somewhere else. Frank is in charge now.

They have set up a vicious cycle - they laid off so many good people & want to force whoever is left to work crazy hours to make up for the lost people - which causes people to more people to leave as work-life balance goes out the window. Even if you nearly ki-l yourself trying to do it all for piddly annual increases, they could lay you off anyway!

But don't worry - they return-to-office will comtinue for a while yet. It takes them a long time to reverse bad policies.

I keep hearing more and more that Hr/Management is starting to realize the F’d up and lost too much talent but this seems strange, you’d be better off hiring remote than paying for yet another office building that you’ll struggle to fill. Though Lake Mary is far more desirable than NJ
