March 22nd - Just like in August. They’ll pay you through the end of the month but they’ll lock you out of your computer that morning and you’re done.

Go look at recent programs installed on your computer... If there is anything that is recent look it up.. Also, ask for an exception to use the USB drives for some piece of software or hardware you have. I used to work in calibration and used all kinds of hardware the communicated via USB. Sometimes prior to Aug22 all of that quit working. They essentially locked me out a couple weeks before the end date. Of course I don't care as being fired allows for unemployment post 9 months severance. Ford paid into that for many years and there is nothing they can do to deny it once 9 months passes.
In Michigan, the standard maximum amount is $362.00. Please note - the amount that you will actually qualify for depends on several factors including how much money you previously earned. But in addition to the state unemployment benefit, under the new federal program, workers will receive an additional $600.00. This means that a worker could receive up to $962.00 per week before tax deductions. This $600.00 payment is expected to last four months. I did not ask to be fired...wink wink.. Bummer for the folks who retired on Nov30 as they don't qualify...$3848/month.. why the he-l would I go get a job at home depot.
The ax will fall. The company transformation does not provide for many jobs. The UAW negotiations will be especially interesting this year.
March 9th. As they hand you the paper saying you get X as bonus, they are turning off your access.
I am in final negotiations for a new job. Serious question for those still there, what are you waiting for??
Ford needs to clean house and rid itself of all these do nothing, work from home, staff and agency workers. All these ridiculous report and analysis functions that mean zero to the bottom line. At least GM is taking action while Ford is heading downward... these new vehicles won't save Ford if the bloated staff just drain the cash reserves each payday! I hope March includes huge layoffs and Purchased Service cuts on meaningless marketing budgets! It needs to be massive like 25 percent of everything!
