Good news, Jim appreciates all employees, so no layoffs:

Isn't this what Mary Barra said before GM announced 500 layoffs?

3000 is a low number. I have few in my dept who have not shown up @ PDC building in 3 years. Time to stop wfh.

@1fzd+1lsaNjgO I am sorry, but I don't feel appreciated, specially for the mo--n in charge. Maybe that is because, as he said publicly, I am "untrainable", allegedly I am to blame for the $2 billion losses last quarter, since I am part of that 25% more than we are supposed to be, and my technical advice does not match what the "leadership" wants.

The only good thing that I wanted on employee appreciation day was his resignation, and Bill's too. I am still hoping to see Farley go before myself, and Billy, well, if not for all those employees like myself, I'd like to see him in bankruptcy.

The video and message we're a nice gesture. I wish some of the other top leadership could have added to it as well, but it is nice to feel appreciated by the head of the company.

@xvk special assignments is when they move employee(s) away from their current project and responsibilities. Often the new position has no clear objectives or responsibilities. Then they later cut the people assigned to the “special” projects. Often times the goal is to get the people to resign on their own.
This tactic is particularly effective with top achievers as they want to accomplish meaningful things - and will find a better job on their own. Yes, you would think that Ford would want to keep the top achievers, but alas this is Ford, a culture that rewards mediocrity and cronyism.

I personally met with JF and most comments are spot on. The post about giving JF a break is from the Ford PR department that monitors this site.

Ford will continue to spin its wheels until they clean house at the top.

@por+1lsaNjgO Its pretty hard to believe anything from JF mouth. Given his past comments to the press concerning his own employees.
Actions speak more than words. A position or wealth does not make you a leader. That is something earned. Right now Ford has a very serious morale problem.
No vision
No plan
No Leadership
No Trust.

Truthfully I hope I never have to meet Jim in person. That guy is so self absorbed. I have only met one CEO in person and that was Alan. Say what you wish, none of us are perfect, but he made me feel welcomed. I know in the grand scheme things it does not matter, but when I met him it meant something to me. I also met Bill, that guy is not comfortable in his own skin. Dead fish handshake…

Pathetic. What would make a difference is Farley the Fake's termination.
Layoffs in the form of PEPs and special assignments are coming in 2 weeks. Prepare, it's about to get ugly.
