Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Advice: Keep quiet

I was thinking to myself today some of the really sketchy behaviors I have seen lately. After seeing this article, it just reminded me, saying nothing is best. The fact is, HR, Security each work for the company and never independently review anything. Audit is a function that's not independent (reporting to the CFO) so they are told not to make a fuss either. In short, do your job, get paid and leave. A younger version of me would have acted differently, but experience proves otherwise. If you don't believe me, ask around. I hope the workers in this news release receive fair compensation for their distress.

Tell the truth. You will be much better off long term in our corporation or another corporation if you are PIP'd.

Never sacrifice your personal integrity to get ahead in ExxonMobil.

This is advice I have been provided from senior employees who have been successful for some time.

Be careful engaging in the positics. There was a good post on what you should do. Complaining in meetings is not one of them.

This company is far too busy with war profiteering to worry themselves.
It's worth keeping in mind.
