Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

I was released.

I was informed on a call with my RDR & HR I was released from my service after my shift is complete on March 31. After seeing the route I would have been running I am actually happy to be leaving. There is a full time order writer position available, but I will be taking my severance and moving on from Nabisco. I’ve been through ups and downs in my 16 years here but this time it hit a little different. I’m excited for the next chapter in life. Good luck to those of you who will stay behind and to those who chose to leave. I learned a valuable lesson yesterday and it’s hard work and doing extra doesn’t always pay off or get noticed but I know that I gave this place everything I had and it wasn’t enough for them. ✌🏻

sounds about right, that's what they do! pass the buck and find a scapegoat.

My current merchandiser does absolutely nothing. Doesn't follow instructions, doesn't build displays, forgets to write orders, doesn't run backstock, leaves shelf empty. Tell the RMS and nothing happens outside of getting a surprise visit from the DM the next day to tell me how worthless I am. Glad to be leaving

My only regret is working plenty of overtime and not being paid for it…it’s my own fault. Mgmt. made me feel guilty for recording it and put the pressure on me even though I did the work. I know upper mgmt. was putting the pressure on my dm. Good luck to all.

Zero accountability! you get a merchandiser who does not rotate, you tell the RMS, and you get written up for complaining and then management retaliates.....happens every single time. I've seen entire shelves with OOD product, by more than a year, they don't care. Zero chance now this will be something they can control and reps can never keep up with things. I was in a WM store and there was an entire PRD of grams OOD in action alley....love it.
So glad I'm done, what a nightmare.

I feel bad for the reps staying, these new hire merchandisers are terrible.

I was kept. I will also be looking for a new job this year as I don't have faith any sales reps will be around a year or 2 from now. Good luck to everyone.

It’s coming to an end for all field sales, count your blessings you got a jump start. For those left, they will have a living he-l trying to service the obscene amount of stores they now have with help that is likely not trained or just got demoted. Worst model ever! Move on and be happy!

Amen to that, the person taking over part of my route barely ever hit his number and did not have as high of scores when it came to display presence as I did. Only things I regret now is working 10 - 12 hour days to get the job done and working on Sunday’s for a period of time when my territory was short staffed.
