Wow, only 3600 F-150 Lightnings sold in February, that's roughly 5 days production at 2 shifts and 55 JPH off of Final. What's the breakeven point to run the plant? What are the number of days on the dealer lots?
Farley thinks he is the smartest lol
People are sensible to bail out.
They know these crooks
I live in Austin TX and I have not seen a single F150 Lightning ad of yet. I saw a couple of Ford Mach-E. I am not sure who is buying Ford EVs, but definitely not in Texas.
Early adopters are bailing. 3k/6k per year with 3 price raises some demand…scale it to 200k. = no demand.
People who depend on their trucks to create income aren’t going to buy them. Range issues/anxiety, limited charging stations, and slow charge times are absolute show stoppers.
Potential solutions:
Cars.com has 1162 new Lightnings that customers ordered but bailed on delivery. Looks like dealer mark ups, battery fires, and recalls might be having an impact.
