It’s amusing how this is spun as Ford is doing a service that everyone wants but are being hampered by other people who oppose the data collection because they are greedy and want the data themselves.
Also amusing how instead of building quality vehicles so that customers have 99% up time they instead build up a subscription data service to predict needed repairs and blame the operators for needed repairs.
Another whopper is that EV collects more data. BS they have been collecting the data all along with ICE for several years now. Another one of those mandatory add-ones $600 added to vehicles and buried in the base cost.
