March madness is here. Massive layoffs of tenured long term employees. The brand new Wells Fargo upper management corral people on calls and mass lay off hundreds at a time reading from a script. They have no empathy to ruining peoples lives. Wells Fargo is a joke in the mortgage world. They are dying. The new upper management took the nations number one lender and are paying out billions in record lawsuits.
As long as there are greedy executives, there will be layoffs!!! Gotta get those millions in bonuses!!!

Comical. IT had layoffs yesterday (3/7) so they’re at least consistent.
one dept lead just had an all team call.....someone always asks if there will be more displacements..... and the answer is.... cannot confirm/comment/deny

3/21 is the date to be concerned with.
Are they done? No never. Wells Fargo will continue to kick people out the door in masses. This is only the beginning. This company is a joke. They care about no one. The upper management has been here for less than a year laying off people who have been here 25 plus years.
You work at Wells Fargo. Layoffs are never done at this sh-t show of a company. So glad I was picked. Never looking back.

Not sure how many were let go today but hlp closers and funders were notified today.
Lots more coming. Hundreds (probably thousands) of people in home mortgage are sitting around with little to no work.
