I'm bargained for and really wish T would offer the damn package so I could get out of this roller coaster company that has been this way since I started over 3 decades ago! It hasn't seen economic stability in years and was even kicked off the Dow Jones index!

No. Non bargained will get the "new" 2 weeks severance to separate from the company. Bargained employees will get 1 year pay to voluntarily leave the company or 1 1/2 years pay if they involuntarily leave the company (Forced to leave). It has been this way for many years and I have seen craft employees on either side of this take the package. Some were a little bit happy, and some still have a grin on their face.

The 5+5 goon is back and keeps spewing his nonsense and will continue to do so until he retires on his own years down the road!

The stink will not pay for you to escape. The Stink would rather continue to torture you!

And besides, why pay you to leave when the Stink would rather pocket the $

Buyout or layoffs it will cost T to lower the number of employees. Recession is coming and I’m not leaving until I’m rewarded for my years wasted here.

Of course not! What alternate universe do you live in? What would T gain by that action? If ATT wants to incentivize employees to leave, they will continue to layoff, reduce retirement benefits, etc. The days of 5+5 or 'voluntary buyouts' are ancient history. And yet you continue to post this dribble. Unbelievable.

Hence the enhanced buyout offer to bargained for employees 5 YEARS TO AGE & SERVICE PLUS $5K PER YEAR of SERVICE. To the iggernant SBC scab crank monkeys who don’t know a lot about much, this is how the business world functions.

Nope. More likely to get paid to stay than leave at this point.

Nonsense. GE broke apart and imploded several years ago.
GM (General Motors) is, however, revamping the business as it moves to electric vehicles and IS offering salaries workers buyouts in an attempt to downsize. This is not a surprise.
