Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Clock your time

Employees that don’t clock time daily also DONT CLOCK THEIR TIME OFF in workday… guess what that means… they got 5 days that rolled over again and again the past couple years (knowing they took that time off). So just another way those who get harassed about clicking every minute (as if it’s reasonable to know our time down to the exact minute all the time) get screwed even more… they’re off for an extra FREE 5 days a year while we keep picking up the slack!

And they want to cry when they’re told they have to actually log their vacation time- - ha! Yea, nobody feels sorry for your entitled self!

Sounds like you’re spending too much time focusing on others. Most teams keep an out of office calendar and the lead can’t check logging. If you see an issue, maybe take it to your manager instead of winning here.

@qon+1lzCeqAm Yea.. so the point still stands- they’re cheating the system and getting more time (or pay if they leave the bank because you know they’ll cry about those 5 days that they know weren’t really theirs, but I feel so entitled, and will demand to get paid out for that). Entitled cheaters who take more vacation than they are allocated annually… while those who are hourly pick up their slack during their endless vacation days.

Far from a conspiracy theory- there are reports that show how few leaders are entering their vacation time. Better get that time in- the ax will fall soon as they’re looking at this! Oh, and turning your laptop on and claiming you “worked” won’t work… sorry, you’re salary- that can be expected if you choose to do so while one your 30th vacation day mid-March.

If they truly are not logging their time then the 5 days that rollover are irrelevant unless they wither get laid off or quit. Maybe you should focus on personally doing the right thing instead of complaining or spreading conspiracy theories.
