Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Global Town Meeting - Optimizing Operations May 9

Here it comes! It will be interesting as to what DA think needs to be done to "Optimize Operations". This may be about spin-offs, layoffs, furloughs, or about how Honeywell plans to turn things around after DA's years of mismanagement. Maybe he is trying to clean things up for VK? Or is he loading VK up with the cleanup? Either way, DA walks off into the sunset with millions and millions in his bank account and a million plus per year as a consultant while having decimated many regular folks lives.

Honeywell looks to have hit a wall in earnings and drastic measures need to be taken to regain the momentum.

The initial divestments won't be announced until much later in the year.
Good chance the new restructure may be introduced.

It's getting closer! What do you all think may be the result? I'm betting on a sale or closure of Intelligrated. I don't see how they could sell Intelligrated because John Boy has destroyed 80% of the customer base. Honeywell may try to piecemeal out Intelligrated, but Honeywell may just be sick and tired of trying to cleanup after John Boy. Maybe John Boy will be told to hit the road? I can only hope.

Honeywell Leadership bet their careers on globalization, moving jobs to India & China, cost reduction, IR&D reduction, etc.

But the Chinese stole Honeywell technologies to build C919. What???????? that was break through markets with no ROI .

But post COVID, globalization is dead!

Ukraine war has made defense business juicy but wait most of Honeywell leaders are non-us citizens, Indian employees are milking us dollars, Chinese are stealing! WHAT? COST synergies with no innovation and with negative ROI: where do we cut now?

Okay don't panic, lets merge with GE Aerospace, and find synergies! LOL

Jack welch lives on!

Surely not Customer Training! We won’t sell anything if that’s the case.

I'm hoping someone replies to this thread with some inside information. That would go with all of the threads about "something big" is coming.

VK will have the same strategy as those othe CEO’s coming from the same schools. Ship it all to India. He needs slaves to burn up in the product process mill. Make no mistake futureshapers in the east.. you are just another tool.

The only thing Honehell knows how to dd to “optimize operations” is unpaid furloughs (that you have to make up for when you get back), cut heads and office supplies.

HoneyHell is SO top heavy. The layoffs should start there. You know they won't. Just proves they do not know how to run a company.

By their logic the most optimized operation is one that does not exist.

This place has reached the end of the "just keep squeezing the employees" approach to making money. There's no one left to cut as there isn't enough people here as it is. The only logical step is a massive sell a thon

The last couple of years the stock hasn't been performing very well. They're not paying very high dividends anymore.

I guarantee they got a more aggressive plan to improve this. It will all start with this new CEO.

I guarantee there will be plant closures like never before. Then the weed out all the office people. By having a massive RIF and that doesn't work. More furloughs until you get the idea not to come back.
