Anyone know the status on the new office space UOP HR was touting about last year? I am not a fan of the open office layout. Too much noise in the background while you're trying to work

Maybe HR was moving the office hoping the drop in visitors from CLT wouldn’t be able to find it.
The real-estate team doesn’t understand engineering or thinking where peace and quiet is required. Better plan on wearing headphones in the new office and probably blinders too. I’ve had an office my entire UOP career…. Sad that I may need to sit in my car to think and work

You can bet they they are flushing hand towels instead of TP. Be ready for backups!
We still have the signs up in the stalls, but those folks are long gone now.
Another way to force out anyone but the most malleable and desperate (meek and low cost lemmings).
We have hot desk, open office for HPS in Houston. It is an absolute sh-t show. You cannot hear yourself think. And then you get the diversity H1’s who will literally take a multi-hour MS Teams call behind you without headphones. I guess I should be happy they aren’t sh-----g in the street but a little manners would go a long way.
open office plan is way better now that 50 percent of the office quit/retired.
