WF mobile phone

Came back from leave two years ago to my work mobile being deactivated but no instructions on on what to do with the actual device. Left WF and included the mobile in my list of equipment that I had. I received instructions on what to do with my equipment, but not the phone. The recycle devices website asked if I was close to a location, I put no and it said to just exit the window. What do I do with this phone? I haven’t received any further communication about it and it’s been over a month.

You're supposed to wipe it and send it to the recycle place, but since you don't have access to the mobile support website I can see the problem.

I've got a bunch of them. I keep them for future antiques. I have an old Motorola brick phone that started it all.

The Enterprise Mobility website has the recycle info on it. Nothing on that page asks if you are near a location, because you have to print a label and ship it yourself to some recycle vendor. I just did it earlier this week. You can easily get to that site from Teamworks, Tech Central, and MyIT. But yes, come to a layoff site for this. SMH

WF has no idea you still have it. Keep it and sell it to an antique museum in a couple decades.

I currently have four different phones that i’ve accumulated from WF. I should be able to drop in some secure bin at the office. Not sure why they make the process so difficult.

So, you came here to ask this question? There are probably 50bother things you could do before coming here.

Just keep it. WF will dump it anyway.
