in hospice, watching as he lays there, major organs shutting down one by one - and we've done our best, all in futility. It's inevitable and we are just biding our time until we say goodbye.
That's the atmosphere at Intel.

HR troll @5wsj is firing on all cylinders today on the damage control.
Did you get an additional 2 pieces of fruit today for your valuable contributions to the company?
@lsw+1m65TAcm. In every company I worked for, whenever the management made mistakes it was always the engineers that paid the price.
The patient is not completely hopeless. Just needs to lose some weight and stop feeding itself sh!t for dinner, and oftentimes a good trip to the emergency room is enough to change one's ways. With some luck, this can hopefully be the case here.

Tragic and sad, but bloated Intel still can't make out its feet, poor cuts left and right.
HR is using this algorithm to CPM people on canceled projects and orgs. This is so unfair, engineers who are not at all responsible for cancelations are being fired left and right, while their VPs don't have any accountability for failed projects they once approved and sponsored in the first place. Even worse, projects canceled at late stages don't not even look bad on VPs, they actually come out victorious with "budget savings" and "simplified roadmaps". So wrong Intel!
Amazing how top execs keep telling everyone 1 Intel and why would should believe but go and sell any part they can.
