Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Which big event is up after the Masters?

We want to prepare for the next group to be laid off to help the execs fund all their expenses like renting a whole neighborhood for the week at the Master’s and flying in corporate jets. Sorry Uverse TRC that you were the sacrificial group this event and all were laid off just prior due to all the debt and belt tightening….. rolling eyes….we really needed a lot of execs there for marketing!

Save a lot of expense at all these events for travel, food, lodging, etc…if there were less power point creators.

Glad you agree we need to reduce and right size the C-Suite.

Next group of workers that are no longer needed is going to be laid off. Doesn't make sense to have them if they aren't needed.

Everything can be contracted but does it make sense? Pretty soon you own nothing and lose an experienced workforce. Result is market prices that will continue to rise.

CRE & Fleet can be contracted.

It all depends on how much damage was done to the houses at the masters. They expect holes in the drywall, beer and wine stains on the carpets, cigarette burns on the furniture and carpet. Stankey does a walkthrough of all houses prior to leaving. Any damage above and beyond normal wear and tear will need to be paid for by at&t. The company normally factors in an additional $20K, to cover any damages.

The Master’s committee requested some good ball washers so Stankey brought nearly all the execs. They can also make a mean peanut butter sandwich, spread just right!

Don’t forget the Uverse build group, C&E engineers, 5ess switch group and Ethernet group layoffs too.
