Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Re: the blame game

Adding to a recent post about blaming employees.

My favorite is when management throws employees in without showing them how to the job and blames them for not swimming in a toxic sink or swim environment. It’s as if I throw a dictionary at someone and go, “wow, you don’t know this one word in the book I gave you? Can’t you read ? You’re a failure. You can’t be successful here.” Blame blame blame. “It’s your fault if you can’t fit in here. Your physical health is suffering because of this place ? You’re weak. You don’t like this place ? Not my problem go find another job.” Blame blame blame.

It’s never them. It’s always you. Oh but please fill out a VOE and a five star Glassdoor review.

Being asked to leave a positive review on Glassdoor by HR on my first day of onboarding really left a bad taste in my mouth, she even half joked that she would be checking. I didn't but I think I might visit Glassdoor now and really tell the truth.
