Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Stores are a bunch of thieves and liars.

If you’re going to setup service with FiOS or wireless don’t go to a store. They scare way too many people and real employees always have to fix/term services.

Store employees are stuck face to face with customer’s. The metrics we’re held accountable force us to not want to help customers. Even passing up a sale because we’ll get into too much trouble for not selling enough and ultimately wanting to slam stuff on customers. I tell everyone I know the last place you want to buy anything is at a store. And I rely on it for my livelihood. It’s a shame I have to tell family and friends don’t come see me cause even though you think you’re helping me, more than likely your just gonna get me in trouble cause I can’t sneak things past you. Or I have to be even more of a d bag and slam stuff on them. It has gotten really bad. Like 10 years ago bad. And with all that it’s still no where near the compensation it used to be. With a fraction of the staff from back then.

As a customer, i always assume that store employees are shady. But also a bit more flexible. Hence why they can be shady.

Then you call customer service and they give you a different story

Please explain what you qualify as real vs fake employees. And you make this statement based on your own interactions I guess? Or maybe you are jumping to conclusions that you know more than an employee at a store?
