UB folks , if we haven’t placed you yet. If you haven’t been told that we want to retain you by now. Look at the calendar. May is close . We are planning on large layoffs starting in June. More in July and August . Take your bonuses and go find your next job outside USB because we have no intentions of helping you land at USB. Good Luck , I know it sucks but we are really bad at identifying talent.

Yes, only time we really know was from the investor presentation and the 40% reduction in expenses, mostly coming from staff reductions.
It’s unbelievable we still haven’t been told a single thing.
I want mine time off from the MUFG culture or lack there of coming in or the ones that will be retained… Looking forward to May 1, a decent job at USBank wouldn’t be so bad, but they won’t even tell us what grade or anything else it will be until Q3 or four. Not really interested in the shell game on the price is right at this point.
Having been through this a few times the lack of transparency is a big surprise. The investor presentation at the beginning clearly showed big staff cuts

Welcome news! Most of us at Union Bank are trying to time getting a nice bonus + MUFG severance (which is better than even Google) with getting a new job with a new company. Most of us do not want to work for US Bank .
At least the MUFG severance plan would apply if you get laid off in this initial round. For me it would be 32 weeks + unused vacation bank + year-end bonus + 60 day WARN pay. The US Bank severance plan is much lower. But I was offered a role at USB that's a higher level than I was at MUFG so I'm staying put for a while.
