Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Issues Management

N8 Herman must be on his last leg. He's throwing hail Mary type changes at Issues Management in attempt to save his job. The entire division is in disarray and morale is in the toilet.
Issues management is a simple concept but he keeps trying to reimagine and complicate every aspect of it to a point that it's the most complex beast to execute against. Constant change and new initiatives every other week that are rolled out far before any impacts are considered just so that we can tell Mr Smiley (Scott P) that we got 'er done!
It's just completely F'ed and each additional change makes it worse. Zero value add in any new initiative they are pushing through.

Nate Herman’s departure is long overdue. He has no clue about risk management or leading a team. Other banks implemented RCSAs donkey years ago. It is the simplest of risk frameworks in the industry. All he had to do was apply common practice, use wheels already invented. But this guy has spent a billion dollars (his own words) and still cannot even invent a sorry excuse why basic admin for issue management is such a failure. He cannot lead independent thinkers and likes the company of toads. Where reason fails he bullies his way. HIs behaviour has been called out repeatedly by HR. The only reason he survives is because his sponsors know he will take them with him when he goes down.

Oh, make that two cronies have downvoted everything! Or maybe NH downvoted on his laptop and then came back on his cell phone to downvote again.

It appears Nate found this thread and downvoted everyone!

Looks like Nate or a crony has come through to downvote everything. Sorry, Nate, there are consequences to your "leadership" - you can't make people hate their jobs without also hating you!

Finally a thread that we can all agree on. Only one down vote so far throughout.

He’s a horrible leader who has no clue what he’s doing. Has zero business being in his current role. Just another examples of Chuckles The Clown staffing the bank with his friends so they can pocket millions and ride off into the sunset.

Herman is one of the least personable leaders I have ever seen. Distaste for people and anger he has to deal with employees radiates from him, even in venues he fully controls, like town halls. It is no surprise he seems to have the same disposition towards controls and issues. You know, just his entire f'ing job. He is mad issues do not magically remediate themselves after he gives them the stink-eye. He has no idea how else to approach them.

This week has been such a sh1t show. My team has to do PLRMs as part of a trigger event to prepare for the refresh to be ready for next year’s RCSA. No one can provide a schedule, dates keep moving and every meeting feels like endless word salad. I love how the non-producers significantly outnumber the producers in every meeting unless you count decks and worksheets that they generate to take credit for work they do not do.

I guess pseudo work counts as work if you’re grasping at straws to demonstrate progress.

You’d think with all the THOUSANDS of superstar control folks he’s hired in India and Philippines this would already all be solved.
