Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Krista is OUT

Did she resign or was she quietly "pushed" to leave?

@kdt+1mAeB9Da She reminds you of that because you aren’t a Marine. First, she sucked in just about everything, she just fit a mold the social justice warriors liked. Second, there are no “drill sergeants” in the Corps, they are Drill Instructors.

If the replacement to mr 5geeee is going to be some Indian. We are all screwed. Change your name to Patel, get a fake engineering degree that most of them have, then just bs your way thru all your work and you will be fine. The next replacement will not be someone internal…. Good luck, I’m 4 years out to retirement, I can careless.

KB saw herself as the heir apparent to take over the ship from Hans but in conversations the board has someone else in mind. This has happened more than once, once the person finds out they aren’t the one, they bail. Are there any guesses to who the new number one is going to be?

I think it’s really sad. Krista was the last of the old school culture that made Verizon the respected premium brand it was. For those critical of how the company shifted during the pandemic she dropped a ton of clues during the announcement of team structure of where to go or leave. We also lost someone who aligned with ESG goals that was qualified for leadership for reasons outside of the ESG boxes checked. It’s a big loss.

This rots, we didn't even get a chance to throw a big going away party with pizza, sodas, and cake with ice cream.

Vz most useless COO ever. How did she focus on Customer Experiences and improve Customer Service. Verizon lost tons of customers under her leadership

Its pretty simple. She either left cause she did not get the prime VCG EVP gig or the new guy pushed her out to bring in his person.

IF this is true, that will be two VPs in one week. Worked in different capacities with both VPs. Both great people leaders. I’m sorry to see them go. Sitting on the edge of my seat to see when they’ll get to my group.

Krista was an OVER-ACHIEVER. She will be missed, she ran a tight ship.
She reminded me of a marine drill sergeant, she knew how to adapt, improvise, and overcome.
You will be missed Krista!

Lol so she came in and ruined consumer retail channel and potentially the axe women and the colored savior from the mail room didn't stick around. She really let them blow smoke straight up her b hole.

Good move, her dumping individual commission in retail was the beginning of the end.

Sampath need to reorganize the entire Omni CX organization. Worst people to work with. They always come back to say “this is how we do it at Verizon”. Guess what? Whatever you are doing it sucks. And you need to change yourself or get out of the organization.
Website is full of bugs and broken experiences everywhere.
lots of incompetent people who will try to talk down others because they suck at doing their jobs.
We were told by one sr manager from Omni CX that she does not care what people say about Verizon’s website experience on Twitter. And we expect people like her to improve customer experience.
