Perfumes and masks

I really think something needs to be done about people who come to the office doused in copious amounts of perfume/cologne. It gives me headaches and makes me want to pu-e. I'm thinking these people should not be allowed to as--ult their office patrons like this. It' not right. Also, what can be done with the brainwashed dopes who still are wearing masks. Their idiocy makes me uncomfortable.

Masks do nothing to protect against chemical based scents in perfumes, laundry products, etc. Many people have severe reactions to colognes and perfumes and these unnatural chemicals can and do build up in people until it really gets to be hard to function with a light headed balloon like head and a splitting headache.

I would prefer allowing people to smoke indoors over colognes and perfumes. At least tobacco smoke is natural and second hand smoke is only annoying, not at all as dangerous as chemically created scents.

@2iob, if you have asthma why would you restrict your breathing even more? And why would you want germs concentrated on a piece of cloth that you keep touching and putting over your mouth and nose? You must be some kind of special.

I still wear my mask and guess what - it helps me from inhaling all those perfumes!

And if you are still working at BNY Mellon, you are obviously brainwashed!

The only time I might wear a mask is for the bathrooms. The dumping is out of hand right now. I often wonder if livestock are using the toilets. These dumps know no bounds, they are making me fearful of the laboratory.

@nev, if you actually complained to your manager about someone's cologne, you ARE the problem. Unless you just asked to be relocated or gave another practical solution.

I try not sit near DEI hires because the grease in their hair is rancid

It is horrible. I was never allergic to anything until a corker over the cubicle wall used to douse himself with cologne after working out because of no showers. I escalated and my b1tch manager made into my problem.

Three years ago, somebody wearing a mask all day would be put in therapy…. Quit normalizing the abnormal.

And as far as being in peoples personal space is… You can’t help it with this new seating that puts 8 people is a space meant for 3

Fragrances I can get down with, although usually when someone complains about fragrances it’s because they’re actually up in the other person’s personal space.

As for masks, quite frankly that’s NOYB. It’s a piece of cloth. You could be making them uncomfortable for all you know. Just like they shouldn’t tell you to wear one, you shouldn’t tell someone not to wear one.

There is no cure for the brainwashed. They will continue to march to what has been programmed in them.
