Forced Move to Dallas

Is anyone else hearing that RTO will require most MGT to move to Dallas or resign? Or is that just a bad rumor?

Whoever spreads the news about company forcing relocation to Dallas is hallucinating. This person is smoking something.

No budget to for paid relocation nor can do this all at once. As reductions take place each quarter shift will be toward management in no hub locations. Push to get TDPs all aboard in ATL and Dallas to feed new blood

Stankey doesn't want a bunch of hayseeds in Dallas. No way this is gonna happen.

New policy coming out this week will state the following:

  1. All employees will be required at a minimum to go into the office 3 days a week. This location will be your listed office location per WebPhone.
  2. Employees & Supervisors will be required to work at the same location per WebPhone. Work location address will be updated to reflect this new location in a HUB city.
  3. Those employees outside a HUB or Supervisor location will be given 60 days to relocate or resign if not willing to relocate.

A move would never be forced. It would be a choice.

Senior management that T needs is already in place in Dallas. The rest will retire and through attrition will not be replaced.

Existing employees in locations outside hubs will stay in place and wait for attrition and layoffs. No new hires or promotions will take place outside the hub locations.

The RTO policy coming out this next week will apply pressure and probably persuade many to quit rather than go to an office 4 days a week. This will result in savings on severance. You can quit or be terminated for attendance.

No one should move simply to keep a temporary job at T.

I'll move to Dallas if they are paying for relocation.

Being that we are the local provider in 21 states and operate in all 50, I doubt that most of management is going to just report to Dallas.

Relax, Francis! This is just another rumor that makes zero sense and has no viability when you actually think about it! So, don't fret!
