Checking here since this is the Layoff board are there any new layoff's coming this week or the next. Especially looking for Tech as we all know mortgage and a few other LOB's have been devasted.

The only way to ensure you are safe is to climb up in the DE&I crevice. It is ridiculous that is the new focus in the company, rather than improving antiquated processes and retaining existing employees. Seems like they just want to bring in new, younger and/or woke people so they look "cool" to the masses.
This company has gone so far downhill over the last 5 years. It's a sinking ship.
yes large layoffs coming in june and aug (at a minimum) and every month has another layoff group being assembled
My manager, middle in tech , does absolutely nothing that I know of. Forwards emails with FYI's. Most the time we have to read email threads where we were never part of a conference and then discern wtf they are talking about. He has horrible grammar, been there forever. God, forbid he takes our side on anything as that might show him above the radar. Seriously, I think all he does is approve our pto, okays our pay slips and forwards emails.

Mortgage was annihilated. They are going to finish the slashing in the next couple of months once they can start firing people with RTO. The chainsaw is not done yet. The good news in that our competition is still doing mortgages hot and heavy and hiring. Wells Fargo is no longer in the game. Hats off to our competitors snatching up our great employees. RIP Wells Fargo mortgage!!!!
