The BIG announcement is just about the new phone plans, marketing is trying to spin the hype machine in overdrive since the plans sux compared to Tmo.

Forget the old VSP. Corporate made it very clear it was a one off. All the employees you have seen leave since then get a two week per year of service up to 35 weeks. Actually VZ is very generous with their package. Reductions will continue if you are ready to leave it a generous deal. If you’re not then either hunker down and work or leave. Just sayin….
There will never be another VSP and that’s a fact.
Highly doubtful they could keep VSP under wraps until the last moment.

Doubt it… this is not the way we do things. Will some people be selectively picked. Absolutely. Why- it’s getting towards the end of the month. Look at the way there were 2 VPs impacted the last two weeks. VZ will fly under the news media radar and release small groups at the end of each month right thru the new year and beyond. Stores buildings will be quietly reduced and as we all know there are quite a few large facilities gathering dust
