There are always layoffs at Verizon, look for a new company to work for. Used to be a great company in the early 2000’s but things have gone downhill quickly since Hans took over. My prediction is the company will either transition to all online or be purchased by another company.
Stop talking about layoffs at the dinner table. It’s your job as a parent to shield your children from having to bear the same stress as adults and carry that sh-t with them to school.
You really need to find another job if you are worried about that. If you have only been here a short time it is a good time to leverage working at VZ means your are employable befotr it become you spent too much time at VZ so you are unemployable anywhere else.
