As a supervisor I have given mid year pay raises to HiPos every year including during COVID. There are clearly the have and have nots in this company. Don’t confuse a high assessment with being a HiPo. It is not the same thing. HiPos are selected early and if you aren’t selected too bad.

I heard the bonus checks this year will be equal to last year's amount.

@owq+1mENsFtp i don't know where you're from or what you do, but that is blatantly wrong for a large portion of employees. But thanks for giving us another example of how "integrity" is really not such a high value of this company.

@pgo is right. Raises are communicated in December every year

ExxonMobil employees can get a raise anytime depending on their ranking group, etc. Last year was a bit unusual due to inflation and bad press where US employees received an across the board bonus and most people received salary treatment in January. I expect that resets the clock again for individual raise cycles for those affected. Good luck to everyone.

@OP Rule of thumb:

If you don’t have the option to get up and walk out then you’re getting whatever you’re worth.

Raise? Only those “special” ones get a raise….lol! ExxonMobil has their very own “ME TOO” group but, HR has swept that under the rug like all other issues that would harm the Company’s reputation. So don’t get too comfortable, just get out and certainly don’t count on a raise (a monetary one anyway).

Amy news on Raise?<

Ha! You need to go stand in the PIP line. While there, you need to spend time learning to proof read.

In my 40.5 years employed with Exxon then ExxonMobil, a raise was based on performance and could come at anytime.
How long have you been an employee?

annual raises are communicated end of the year and happen with January payroll. They depend on the performance assessment which for most of us did not happen yet. If you received a mid-year raise last year, you are probably in a high inflation country. It's definitely not a standard.
