Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

No he didn't....really ?

From the Verge - announcing the new plans : In the press event, Verizon Consumer Group CEO Sowmyanarayan Sampath said the new plans come after “years and years” of consumer research, and he noted that customers are willing to spend more on a reliable network and save money elsewhere. “They use one-ply toilet paper if they need to, but when it comes to networks, they want quality because of how much time they spend on it,” Sampath said.

Can't believe toilet paper is the comparison he used as to why you now need to pay more for Verizon.

Listen here you Bidet Biddies! This is a serious cultural thing. Remember, one-ply to the peeps from no-ply land is a big deal. Just like customer service. How can someone living 15 to a room and getting paid 150 dollars a week understand and commiserate with a customer whose 150 phone bill is 10 bucks off or thousand dollar phone is not functioning?

Remember these are the same characters who thought that it was a great idea to sell off all of the towers and data centers and wonder why they are getting beat in the dark fiber market.

Remember these are the people who not only thought that buying defanged and defunked Aol was a good idea, but then had to double down and buy Yahoo too.

Remember these are the people who have been pushing an unworkable 5G solution to a problem that did not exist because these 'great minds' ignored the fact that the geography of the USA is very different than East Asia and Europe.

Until there is an entire globalist house cleaning revenues will not improve. Even ATT is starting to look better to investors. That has never happened before. Never.

Toilet paper is a serious matter. It can be attributed to many of the worlds problems today.

lol. At bringing in TP into the discussion

People may be willing to pay more for a demonstrably better network, but right now Verizon is not one. Because of the midband 5G for most people TMobile feels better

The only type of people who use 1 ply TP are the those you wouldn’t want to shake hands with, and not for the obvious reason. Where do we keep finding these fools?

Unbelievable! The only way I would ever buy 1-ply is if there was absolutely nothing else. This guy just does not understand people in this country. Sure we know the 1-ply types but they are usually people we don't want to be related to.

Thanks for the heads up. My Verizon plan is already too expensive. I'll be looking for a new plan.

I predict lower earnings going forward.

First in the industry to do teo level of plans just like places like mint mobile.
$10 for disney so I can binge a show on a weekend then change my perks. They must have one month minimums on those or can I really just turn them on/off for a few hours here and there?

The TP budget was trimmed for every office outside of BR to pay for terrible ads about 5geeeee that doesn't work!

Whether the statement is true or not, it takes them years and years or research to come up with a plan?!?

I guess they can start researching now for a plan to be released in 2029. So quick to adapt to the marketplace and efficient!

I rarely hear people even mentioning who their carrier is like they used to. When I do, it is about who has the best "deal." The average person doesn't even know the diff in quality with an MVNO.

He must have missed 2020 during the research. Back then people hoarded and lined up for the best TP while no one lined up for mobiles

He is wrong. Two-ply only in my world. That I would pay extra for. Not paying extra for the VZ network. While it is good I can save with someone else that’s almost as good. Another clueless leader speaks.

He's a McKinsey Klown from the land of open defecation where using one-ply implies great wealth. Has he ever been successful for the company?

“They use one-ply toilet paper if they need to, but when it comes to networks, they want quality because of how much time they spend on it,” Sampath said.

This guy is a traveling minstrel show, singing and dancing and BeeSssing his way to a fortune of the shareholder's money while returning nothing of any value to the company.

A friend once described him as the guy who you pay to borrow your watch to tell you what time it is. But to me, he always tells me the wrong time, even when he should be right at least twice a day.
