Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Think like an owner???

If I was an ‘owner’, I’d want a new board of directors and top level. Considering this company is stagnating for decades. Clorox bleach had the same share price as BNYM in August 1999. Both are earth-shakers, but in that time clorox has quadrupled in value.. this place? Not so much even after the Bob Kelly boondoggle. The RSUs are a fair showing of what its like to own a piece of this bad baloney- $39+ a share with $56 executable. LOL..Maybe thats the plan ? Have employees ‘owe’ this place with more boondoggles. Vote to disown and not own. Quarter century and going nowhere fast. You can own it.

@OP

Clorox bleach cleans up and disinfects a mess. The Bank creates a toxic mess that resists any and all efforts to clean.

@1fym Obviously, Clorox would be off the hook for ESG. So I think you nailed it.
