One has to love email where stankey makes comments about beautiful and modern offices. What about the rest of us who work in offices which are barely cleaned, run down office furniture, open spaces where employees can listen to everyone else’s conference calls and conversations, poor ventilation, broken toilets and so on. How exactly is that a good work environment?

With all the H1Bs they will be hiring to replace non-hub movers, the hubs will smell like farts and curry, no matter how "clean" it supposedly is.
I get Taco Bell for lunch on every office day. That keeps the others away from me.

Better yet, just drop a deuce on the chair seat. Then take a stick or plastic spoon and thoroughly rub into the chair seat.
Its most likely cleaner than your house.
Once you find a good, non-broken chair, the pro move is to use some kind of paint or liquid to dye streaks into the seat to make the chair look soiled. That will stop the chair thieves from coming into your cubicle and stealing your comfortable, non-broken chair.

Dallas isn't even that nice. The wear is starting to show and the shine from the 100s of millions invested in the plaza is starting to fade. Everything AT&T does from now on will be on the cheap, Dallas or not.
I think you’re taking about the downtown Pittsburgh office. That place hasn’t been updated since the 70’s. Scary place.
Dallas is beautiful as offices go. I’ve worked in offices that were horrible but Dallas is different. If you have return, Dallas is it. Good luck finding an affordable home and the commute is bad if you don’t arrive by 7am. Leave by 3pm or expect to sit in horrible traffic. That’s it.
I have never been to Dallas, but every single AT&T building I’ve ever been in has been a complete dump. Whether they are CO’s or office buildings, they are all dirty, outdated, dark and depressing.
