Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Hans and Sampath are the dynamic duo of shareholder wealth destruction

Hans and Sampath have made some history by landing the lowest closing VZ stock price in more than 10 years. There really needs to be a clawback on the bonuses of these two wealth destroyers.

Not for nothing but neither of these of these folks could get a role in the chorus of a start-up community theatre production The Music Man. They cannot dance the Shipoopi, they could not be in the barbershop quartet, and I be willing to bet they couldn't remember the towns in Iowa (watch the movie it's on TMC every 4th of July). Hanz could maybe be the anvil
Salesman.

The best choice musical would prolly be Nunsense? They need to raise $$$$ so it fits thematically.

Sampath made his place by surrounding himself with very smart and talented people who he entranced into believing that the harder that they worked for him the bigger the reward would be for the company and them. He is a charlatan. Like the professor from The Music Man, who gets out of town or changes jobs right before the big fail.

Hans is another showman whose lack of skill in the English language has allowed him to advance through Blackrock world despite his many failures by simply smiling, jumping around, and chanting the politically / economically correct five phrases he can reasonably say in English, including: "Five Yee, Five Yee".

Havard Business Review will have a field day with all of the cases they will be able to come up with after the Hans show.

Sampath accomplished nothing in Strategies, failed with OneFiber, failed with Media, failed with the Business Group and now .....

Sampath is a song and dance man who really knows nothing about nothing but knows how to get people all excited about his nothingness.

Sampath literally just came into the role and you all are blaming him already? Good grief!

Come on now! The OP just doesnt see the value that Hans and Sampath bring to VZ like tight jeans and influx of social media posts like a celebrity

I couldn’t even understand wtf the head of 711 was saying in up to speed about the new price plans. I’m sorry but that accent is a turn off for most american consumers. That’s a fact. You know you all cring when you call some customer service number and some Indian answers. Well, that’s your soon to be c suite members. Good luck.

Only one man can fix this and that is John Legere! He knows this company inside out, and even BR. He also knows all of the execs in this business who are full of B S too! Sadly Hans the Horrible booted most of the people who know this business, and these markets, and waylaid billions in capital from projects with profit potential into cash-ki-ling pipe dreams.

The BOD, McKinsey, and Larry Finks finks all need to go!

Can't blame Sampath for what he inherited.

Hans is forcing this stuff that we all, including these execs, have to swallow. It's what ever Hans wants, have to sell it.

Modt of their pay is probably long term incentives which would be hit by the stock price falling. While nothing to them probably lost more money there then I’ll ever make in my life.
