Hold on to your horses folks. You are crazy if you think this is the end of it all. This is just the beginning. The deck is being stacked and you're crazy if you think in the long run if you move to one of the other cities besides Dallas that you will be safe. In the end, Dallas is going to be the last place left. And you're not safe even if you move to Dallas. The plan has been all along to get the employee headcount down to 85,000. They have been saying this for the last 5 years that they truly believe the company can run fine with that many people. Right now its going to be driving 3 days a week, but just look JP Morgan Chase just took away working remotely all together and all of their management has to come into the office now 5 days a week... My point: This is not the end, its just the beginning... Hopefully you are planning for something else if you need more than 5-10 years at the company. This is your notice to start working on Plan B today.

Lots of empty seats still in Bothell and Willows lab. And neither have any amenities or anywhere to get lunch. Bothell 7,8 are much nicer than willows 1,2,3 though if you’re spending the day on your laptop.
I believe all location but the 9 will be closed by 2025, and then the 7 satellites will close a year or two after. 100% agree with you.
AT&T really sucks! Stankey has ruined this company. We are on life support, I see bankruptcy in our future.
The mobility talent resides in Bothell. Which I'm assuming is why some of you have no idea what's in Bothell.
Stank mentioned back in 2020 that they may end up freezing the pension to save money.
2021, layoff after layoff, loss of health benefits for those retiring after 12/31/21.
2022, the segment rate increase caused 35-40% loss in pension lump sum for those eligible.
2023, layoff after layoff, transfer of At&T pension to Athene (insurance company with a C- rating), RTO, and now relocation to a hub city. Next step, Athene goes belly up and affects retirees that make less than $2200 a month in annuity.
And most of you will still stay and think they are in for your best interest.
I left in November of last year and kept all of my pension in tact. I was no where ready to retire but I surely didn't want to lose close to $200k in my pension!!!!
All of you should focus on what is best for your family and that's it. Make the move before 8/1 when the pension is transferred to Athene!!!
Work Place 2020 is still in motion. It was delayed because of the pandemic.
Glad I am located in International where this is not affecting us.
Bothell? Lolololol
Until you all wake up and realize all you have with this dump is a transactional relationship you are nuts. Give them 40 hours a week. Period. No more working late. No more extra mile. Have a migraine a few times a year. Don’t even think about rolling out during inclement weather. Don’t assume any additional work. If you want loyalty, get a dog. You are a UID. That’s all. Quid. Pro. Quo.
Been working on Plan B for about a decade.
What’s Bothell??? That’s will be shut down in the next five years or less. Cost too much to pay workers on the West Coast.
Dallas and Bothell will be the last standing and Dallas will prevail in the end.
Facts! And if anyone is just now realizing this from the new RTO policy released this week, you have been asleep!
Some truth right there for sure
